At 9:20 p.m. the fire department responded to Heller Road in Frelinghuysen for fire. Firefighters requested mutual aid upon arrival after finding a working chimney fire that had spread to the attic, firefighters said.
Firefighters spent two hours on scene before clearing the area at 11:30 p.m., firefighters said. There were no reports of any injuries.
